Ofsted

Ofsted is the Office for Standards in Education, Children’s Services and Skills. Ofsted regulate and inspect schools and colleges to seek improvement in the service. They carry out large number of inspections and regulatory visits in England and publish their finding on their website.

During an inspection Ofsted regularly inspect the children’s progress and achievement, the quality of teaching and care, the children’s behaviour and safety and the leadership and management.

Following each inspection a report is published and a judgement is made.

Our Childcare was judged to be an OUTSTANDING provider by Ofsted in August 2021.

The outcome report from main nursery’s July 2022 inspection stated, “Mill Hill Nursery School continues to be a good school. There is enough evidence of improved performance to suggest that the school could be judged Outstanding if we were to carry out a section 5 inspection now. The school’s next inspection will be a section 5 inspection.”

Mill Hill Nursery School was judged to be a OUTSTANDING provider by Ofsted in March 2024
