Once your child has settled into nursery you may like to volunteer to support us in one of a number of ways.

These may include:

  • -Volunteering and supporting for a full or part session during the week, this may include reading stories, playing alongside children in the construction, playing super heroes outside- it can be as varied as you would like it to be and always good fun!. (This will require a DBS check but we can help to complete this)
  • -Volunteering for any visits to support the children's learning. (This will require a DBS check but we can help to complete this)
  • -Showing the children and talking about your work or hobbies.  This could be a one off or involve weekly visits. Could you show children how to make things from wood safely and creatively?  Do you have green fingers? Could you help with a little gardening club? Are you a nurse? Mechanic? Architect? Could you spare an hour to talk to a group of children about your job?
  • -Do you have resources you could donate such as tree branches, cobbles, some gravel, clean guttering, large blocks of wood, pallets, crates?  These are all objects that we can use to promote the open ended learning opportunities we provide for the children.
